The Washington Patriots football team (Charles Town, WV), was ripped 54-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Musselman Applemen (Inwood, WV)

The Applemen (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV). The Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Bridgeport was ripped by Princeton (Princeton, WV), 34-29, in a non-league challenge.

The Patriots now sport a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they host Hampshire for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 28. Washington will meet a Trojans team coming off a 43-29 league win over Berkeley Springs (Berkeley Springs, WV). The Trojans record now stands at 3-6.
