The Paint Branch Panthers football team (Burtonsville, MD), was beaten 45-32 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Sherwood Warriors (Sandy Spring, MD)
The Warriors (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Magruder (Rockville, MD). The Colonels come into the Montgomery County 3A challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Magruder achieved victory over Watkins Mill (Gaithersburg, MD), 9-3, in a league challenge.
The Panthers now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Watkins Mill for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 28. Paint Branch will meet a Wolverines team coming off a 9-3 league loss to Magruder (Rockville, MD). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-7.
