The Reed Olympians football team (New Orleans, LA), was beaten 30-8 in Friday's league challenge with the host Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy Tigers (Avondale, LA)

The Tigers (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Kennedy (New Orleans, LA). The Cougars come into the 3A District 9 challenge with a 8-0 record. In their last challenge, Kennedy achieved victory over Haynes Academy (Metairie, LA), 61-0, in a league challenge.

The Olympians now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host McDonogh 35 for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 28. Reed will meet a Roneagles team coming off a 13-10 league win over Carver Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA). The Roneagles record now stands at 6-2.
