The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Sequoyah Eagles (Claremore, OK) and the host Pawhuska Huskies (Pawhuska, OK), observed Sequoyah's football squad thwart Pawhuska by a count of 51-26.

The Eagles now own a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Vinita for a 2A District 8 contest on Friday, October 28. Sequoyah will play a Hornets squad coming off a 44-14 league win over Adair (Adair, OK). The Hornets record now stands at 7-1.

Coming up next, the Huskies play the Adair Warriors (Adair, OK) in a 2A District 8 contest, on Friday, October 28. Pawhuska will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 1-7 record after their 44-14 league loss to Vinita (Vinita, OK).
