The Powdersville Patriots thwarted the host Wren Hurricanes football team by a count of 51-21 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Powdersville upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Patriots host Palmetto (Williamston, SC) to encounter the Mustangs in a AAA Region 2 outing on Friday, October 28. The Mustangs go into the outing with a record of 2-7. Palmetto won 14-0 in their recent league outing against Fountain Inn (Fountain Inn, SC)

With the loss, Wren moves to 3-6 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, SC) to encounter the Bears in a AAA Region 2 outing on Friday, October 28. The Bears go into the outing with a record of 8-1. Belton-Honea Path won 49-0 in their recent league outing against Southside (Greenville, SC)
