North Carolina High School Football - Providence Grove knocks off Southwestern Randolph

The Providence Grove Patriots football squad scored 48 points and limited the host Southwestern Randolph Cougars to 21 in the Patriots league win on Friday.

The Patriots now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Wheatmore for a 1A/2A West Conference 31 battle on Friday, October 28. Providence Grove will play a Warriors squad coming off a 62-0 league loss to Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 2-7.

Coming up next, the Cougars play the Trinity Bulldogs (Trinity, NC) in a 1A/2A West Conference 31 battle, on Friday, October 28. Southwestern Randolph will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a 4-5 record after their 70-0 league loss to Randleman (Randleman, NC).
