South Carolina High School Football - Silver Bluff topped by Strom Thurmond

The Silver Bluff Bulldogs football team (Aiken, SC), was beaten 17-7 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Strom Thurmond Rebels (Johnston, SC)

The Rebels (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Fox Creek (North Augusta, SC). The Predators come into the AA Region 3 challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Fox Creek was beaten by Saluda (Saluda, SC), 42-0, in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now sport a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pelion for a AA Region 3 challenge on Friday, October 28. Silver Bluff will meet a Panthers team coming off a 55-7 league loss to Batesburg-Leesville (Batesburg, SC). The Panthers record now stands at 3-6.
