California High School Football - Nevada Union knocks off Oakmont

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) and the visiting Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA), observed Nevada Union's football squad thwart Oakmont by a tally of 30-6.

The Miners now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Ponderosa for a contest on Friday, October 28. Nevada Union will play a Bruins squad coming off a 7-6 league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 2-5.

Coming up next, the Vikings play the Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) in a contest, on Friday, October 28. Oakmont will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record. The Hillmen go into the contest with a 8-1 record after their 24-22 league win over West Park (Roseville, CA).
