In Friday's league match, the visiting Placer Hillmen football squad scored a close 24-22 victory over the West Park Panthers.
In their next game, the Hillmen clash with the Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA) in a match, on Friday, October 28. Placer will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 1-8 record after their 30-6 league loss to Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA).
The Panthers (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Lincoln (Lincoln, CA). The Fighting Zebras enter the match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Lincoln was nudged by Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA), 7-6, in a league match.
