The Hillhouse Academics volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Bassick Lions to 1 in the Academics non-league victory on Friday.

The Academics now possess a 3-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lauralton Hall for a Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset game on Monday, October 24. Hillhouse will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Sacred Heart Academy (Hamden, CT). The Crusaders record now stands at 14-4.

The Lions (2-13) will now prepare for their game against Harding (Bridgeport, CT). The Presidents enter the Constitution State - West game with a 1-14 record. In their last game, Harding was dropped by Stratford (Stratford, CT), 3-0, in a non-league game.
