In Friday's non-league contest, the Brandon Valley Lynx (Brandon, SD) volleyball squad knocked off the host Douglas Patriots (Box Elder, SD), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Lynx battle the Stevens Raiders (Rapid City, SD) in a AA District 1 contest, on Friday, October 21. Brandon Valley will attempt to better on its 8-17 season record. The Raiders come into the contest with a 16-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Brandon Valley (Brandon, SD).
