South Dakota High School Volleyball - Bridgewater/Emery can't hold off Sanborn Central/Woonsocket

In Friday's non-league battle, the host Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Rebels volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Bridgewater/Emery Huskies.
The Rebels (9-17) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD). The Titans come into the A Region 5 battle with a 16-11 record. In their last battle, Mt. Vernon/Plankinton nudged Bon Homme (Tyndall, SD), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Huskies clash with the Centerville Tornadoes (Centerville, SD) in a B Region 5 battle, on Tuesday, October 25. Bridgewater/Emery will attempt to advance on its 6-17 season record. The Tornadoes come into the battle with a 12-16 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Colome (Colome, SD).
