In Friday's non-league contest, the Prairie Mustangs (New Raymer, CO) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Lone Star Longhorns (Otis, CO), by a margin of 3-1.
Next up, the Mustangs battle the North Park Wildcats (Walden, CO) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 22. Prairie will attempt to better on its 10-10 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 6-14 record after their 3-2 league win over Grand Valley (Parachute, CO).
With the loss, Lone Star drops to 7-15 on the campaign. The Longhorns host Weldon Valley (Weldona, CO) to battle the Warriors in a non-league contest on Friday, October 28. The Warriors come into the contest with a record of 9-12.
