Connecticut High School Football - Cheney RVT topples O'Brien RVT

The Cheney RVT Beavers (Manchester, CT) football defeated the host O'Brien RVT Condors (Ansonia, CT), 32-6 in Saturday's league bout.
In their next game, the Beavers face the Thames River co-op [Norwich RVT/Grasso RVT/St. Bernard] Crusaders (Norwich, CT) in a Connecticut Tech bout, on Friday, October 27. Cheney RVT will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Crusaders enter the bout with a 3-3 record after their 49-0 non-league loss to Killingly (Killingly, CT).
The Condors (0-5) will now prepare for their bout against Quinebaug Valley Coop (Putnam, CT). The Pride enter the Connecticut Tech bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, Quinebaug Valley Coop was toppled by Bullard-Havens RVT/Kolbe-Cathedral (Bridgeport, CT), 23-6, in a league bout.
