The Freehold Boro Colonials football team (Freehold, NJ), was beaten 27-7 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Matawan Regional Huskies (Aberdeen, NJ)
The Huskies (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Holmdel (Holmdel, NJ). The Hornets come into the non-league challenge with a 8-0 record. In their last challenge, Holmdel achieved victory over Shore Regional (West Long Branch, NJ), 39-0, in a league challenge.
The Colonials now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central Regional for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 26. Freehold Boro will meet a Golden Eagles team coming off a 41-20 league loss to Toms River South (Toms River, NJ). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 3-6.
