The Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks (Newburgh, NY) football routed the host Kingston Tigers (Kingston, NY), 37-0 in Saturday's league bout.
In their next game, the Goldbacks clash with the Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders (Central Valley, NY) in a Section 9 AA bout, on Saturday, October 28. Newburgh Free Academy will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Crusaders enter the bout with a 5-2 record after their 21-7 non-league loss to Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY).
