Pennsylvania High School Football - Mercersburg Academy drops to Maryland School for the Deaf

October 21, 2023: Mercersburg, PA 17236

In Saturday's league game, the Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles (Frederick, MD) football team knocked off the host Mercersburg Academy Blue Storm (Mercersburg, PA), by a final score of 38-22.

The Orioles (7-2) will now prepare for their game against Delaware County Christian (Newtown Square, PA). The Knights come into the Keystone State (8 Man) game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Delaware County Christian was dropped by Model Secondary School for the Deaf (Washington, DC), 34-12, in a league game.

The Blue Storm now hold a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Model Secondary School for the Deaf for a Keystone State (8 Man) game on Saturday, October 28. Mercersburg Academy will battle a Eagles team coming off a 34-12 league win over Delaware County Christian (Newtown Square, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-3.
