Valley Stream North Spartans (Franklin Square, NY) fans left the game content Saturday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Mineola Mustangs (New Hyde Park, NY), 18-10 in a league test.

With the triumph, Valley Stream North improves its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Hewlett (Hewlett, NY) to battle the Bulldogs in a Section 8 Conference III test on Friday, October 27. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 4-3. Hewlett lost 19-13 in their recent league test against Bethpage (Bethpage, NY)

With the loss, Mineola drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Kennedy (Bellmore, NY) to battle the Cougars in a Section 8 Conference III test on Saturday, October 28. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 3-4. Kennedy won 39-28 in their recent league test against Clarke (Westbury, NY)
