The Lincoln Railsplitters held off the visiting Richwoods Knights volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Railsplitters now have a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pleasant Plains for a non-league test on Thursday, October 26. Lincoln will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Glenwood (Chatham, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 17-12.
The Knights (17-13) will now prepare for their test against Bloomington (Bloomington, IL). The Purple Raiders enter the non-league test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Bloomington held off Centennial (Champaign, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
