The Caprock Academy Eagles (Grand Junction, CO) volleyball nudged the host Hayden Tigers (Hayden, CO), 3-2 in Saturday's league outing.

With the win, Caprock Academy betters its record to 13-7 on the year. The Eagles travel to Cedaredge (Cedaredge, CO) to face the Bruins in a 2A/1A Western Slope outing on Tuesday, October 24. The Bruins go into the outing with a record of 7-12. Cedaredge lost 3-1 in their recent league outing against Rangely (Rangely, CO)

The Tigers now sport a 6-14 record. They play next when they travel to Soroco for a 2A/1A Western Slope outing on Friday, October 27.
