The Captain Shreve Gators prevailed the host Covenant Christian Academy Lions volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Gators now have a 22-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Red River for a non-league test on Saturday, October 21. Captain Shreve will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to West Monroe (West Monroe, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-14.
The Lions (26-13) will now prepare for their outing against Pineville (Pineville, LA). The Rebels go into the non-league outing with a 5-14 record. In their last game, Pineville was dropped by Natchitoches Central (Natchitoches, LA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
