The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Central Lafourche Trojans (Raceland, LA) and the visiting St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays (Eunice, LA), saw Central Lafourche's volleyball squad beat St. Edmund by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Central Lafourche upgrades its record to 23-14 on the year. The Trojans travel to Westminster Academy (Opelousas, LA) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 21. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 18-6. Westminster Academy won 3-2 in their recent league bout against Episcopal of Acadiana (Cade, LA)
The Fighting Blue Jays now own a 13-9 record. They play next when they travel to South Lafourche for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 21. St. Edmund will play a Tarpons squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace, LA). The Tarpons record now stands at 17-17.
