The Peotone Blue Devils volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Hoopeston Cornjerkers to 0 in the Blue Devils non-league victory on Saturday.
The Blue Devils now have a 11-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pana for a non-league game on Saturday, October 21. Peotone will meet a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 league win over Hillsboro (Hillsboro, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 20-10.
The Cornjerkers (11-23) will now prepare for their game against Mattoon (Mattoon, IL). The Greenwave enter the non-league game with a 6-18 record. In their last game, Mattoon dropped by Decatur Eisenhower (Decatur, IL), 2-1, in a non-league game.
