Illinois High School Volleyball - Prairie Central over Hoopeston

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Prairie Central Hawks (Fairbury, IL) and the visiting Hoopeston Cornjerkers (Hoopeston, IL), saw Prairie Central's volleyball squad beat Hoopeston by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Prairie Central upgrades its record to 23-12 on the year. The Hawks host Peotone (Peotone, IL) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 21. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 8-18. Peotone lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Clifton Central (Clifton, IL)

The Cornjerkers now own a 11-23 record. They play next when they travel to Rochester for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 21. Hoopeston will play a Rockets squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Springfield (Springfield, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 18-11.
