In Monday's non-league match, the host Kent-Meridian Royals football squad scored a close 21-20 triumph over the White River Hornets.
The Royals (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Auburn Mountainview (Auburn, WA). The Lions come into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Auburn Mountainview was nudged by Decatur (Federal Way, WA), 28-14, in a non-league match.
