Illinois High School Volleyball - Meridian tips Okaw Valley

The Meridian Hawks (Macon, IL) volleyball held off the visiting Okaw Valley Timberwolves (Bethany, IL), 2-1 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Hawks now possess a 22-6 record. They play next when they host Maroa-Forsyth for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 22. Meridian will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Warrensburg-Latham (Warrensburg, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 14-14.

With the loss, Okaw Valley drops to 5-21 on the campaign. The Timberwolves host Cerro Gordo/Bement (Cerro Gordo, IL) to clash with the Broncos in a Lincoln Prairie bout on Tuesday, October 22. The Broncos come into the bout with a record of 4-26. Cerro Gordo/Bement lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Villa Grove (Villa Grove, IL)
