The Wichita County Indians volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Plainville Cardinals to 1 in the Indians non-league triumph on Monday.

The Indians now possess a 27-14 record. They play next when they travel to Smith Center for a non-league outing on Monday, October 21. Wichita County will clash with a Redmen team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, KS). The Redmen record now stands at 9-24.

With the loss, Plainville drops to 10-22 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Thomas More Prep-Marian (Hays, KS) to clash with the Monarchs in a Mid-Continent outing on Monday, October 21. The Monarchs come into the outing with a record of 25-11. Thomas More Prep-Marian lost 2-1 in their recent league outing against Norton (Norton, KS)
