The Austin Black Bears flag football squad scored 47 points and limited the visiting Athens Golden Eagles to 6 in the Black Bears league triumph on Tuesday.

The Black Bears now sport a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they host Huntsville for a test on Thursday, October 23.

With the defeat, Athens drops to 8-4 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to Decatur (Decatur, AL) to meet the Red Raiders in a test on Thursday, October 23. The Red Raiders come into the test with a record of 2-1. Decatur lost 37-14 in their recent league test against Austin (Decatur, AL)
