Arizona High School Flag Football - Mayer nudged by Highland Prep West

In Tuesday's non-league game, the Highland Prep West HORNETS (Avondale, AZ) flag football team edged the visiting Mayer Wildcats (Mayer, AZ), by a tally of 12-6.

In their next game, the HORNETS battle the Arizona Lutheran Academy Coyotes (Phoenix, AZ) in a 3A Metro West game, on Thursday, October 23. Highland Prep West will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Coyotes go into the bout with a 7-1 record after their 31-3 non-league win over River Valley (Mohave Valley, AZ).

The Wildcats now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Monument Valley for a 3A North bout on Thursday, October 30.
