Anderson County Mavericks (Clinton, TN) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Carter Green Hornets (Strawberry Plains, TN), 5-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Anderson County advances its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Mavericks host Gibbs (Corryton, TN) to clash with the Eagles in a AA District 4 bout on Thursday, October 23. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 12-2. Gibbs won 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Seymour (Seymour, TN)

With the loss, Carter moves to 10-8 on the year.
