New Britain Golden Hurricanes (New Britain, CT) fans went home in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their soccer squad nudge the host Southington Blue Knights (Southington, CT), 1-0 in a league outing.
The Golden Hurricanes (3-9) will now prepare for their outing against Northwest Catholic (West Hartford, CT). The Lions go into the Central Connecticut - Central outing with a 1-15 record. In their last outing, Northwest Catholic was edged by Lewis Mills (Burlington, CT), 5-1, in a league outing.
