New York High School Volleyball - Averill Park overwhelmed by Colonie Central

Colonie Central Wolfpack (Albany, NY) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Averill Park Golden Knights (Averill Park, NY), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Wolfpack (6-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Varsity Opponent (, ). The come into the non-league challenge with a 271-650 record. In their last challenge, Varsity Opponent lost by Trinity Oaks Christian Academy (Cary, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Golden Knights face the Shenendehowa Plainsmen (Clifton Park, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban - Grey test, on Thursday, October 23. Averill Park will attempt to advance on its 1-14 season record. The Plainsmen go into the test with a 29-8 record after their 3-0 league win over Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (Burnt Hills, NY).
