The Hill City Rangers (Hill City, SD) volleyball knocked off the host Custer Wildcats (Custer, SD), 3-1 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Rangers now possess a 19-12 record. They play next when they host Lakota Tech for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 23. Hill City will clash with a Tatanka team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Edgemont (Edgemont, SD). The Tatanka record now stands at 29-9.
With the loss, Custer drops to 24-12 on the year. The Wildcats host Lead-Deadwood (Lead, SD) to battle the Golddiggers in a A Region 8 contest on Tuesday, October 28. The Golddiggers enter the contest with a record of 11-17. Lead-Deadwood won 3-2 in their recent non-league battle against Douglas (Box Elder, SD)
