Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Friendship Collegiate Academy Knights (Washington, DC) and the visiting Parkside Eagles (Washington, DC), observed Friendship Collegiate Academy's volleyball team hold off Parkside by a count of 2-1.

The Knights (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Capital City Public Charter School (Washington, DC). The EAGLES enter the PCSAA contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Capital City Public Charter School got by Friendship Tech Prep Academy (Washington, DC), 2-0, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the DC International Dragons (Washington, DC) in a PCSAA battle, on Friday, October 24. Parkside will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Dragons go into the battle with a 16-6 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC).
