Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Lincoln Cardinals (Portland, OR) and the host Roosevelt Roughriders (Portland, OR), observed Lincoln's volleyball team top Roosevelt by a count of 3-0.
The Cardinals (19-7) will now prepare for their contest against Jefferson (Portland, OR). The Democrats enter the 6A Portland Interscholastic contest with a 2-19 record. In their last battle, Jefferson achieved victory over Benson Tech (Portland, OR), 3-2, in a league battle.
The Roughriders now own a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grant for a 6A Portland Interscholastic battle on Thursday, October 23. Roosevelt will encounter a Generals squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Cleveland (Portland, OR). The Generals record now stands at 18-8.
