In Friday's non-league battle, the host Glastonbury Tomahawks volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Wethersfield Eagles.
The Tomahawks (13-5) will now prepare for their battle against Simsbury (Simsbury, CT). The Trojans come into the Central Connecticut - West battle with a 14-4 record. In their last battle, Simsbury defeated Platt (Meriden, CT), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Eagles encounter the Newington Nor'easters (Newington, CT) in a Central Connecticut - North battle, on Monday, October 25. Wethersfield will attempt to move on its 7-11 season record. The Nor'easters come into the battle with a 9-9 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to RHAM (Hebron, CT).
