In Saturday's league match, the visiting Alamo Heights Mules football squad scored a big 69-7 victory over the Edison Golden Bears.

In their next game, the Mules clash with the Lanier Voks (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A-2 Region IV District 14 match, on Friday, October 28. Alamo Heights will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record. The Voks enter the match with a 3-5 record after their 21-20 league win over Highlands (San Antonio, TX).

The Golden Bears (1-7) will now prepare for their match against Burbank (San Antonio, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 5A-2 Region IV District 14 match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Burbank routed Harlandale (San Antonio, TX), 32-22, in a league match.
