Maryland High School Football - Kent Island trounces Bennett

October 22, 2022: Stevensville, MD 21666

In Saturday's league match, the host Kent Island Buccaneers football squad scored a big 49-0 victory over the Bennett Clippers.

In their next game, the Buccaneers clash with the Queen Anne's County Lions (Centreville, MD) in a Bayside 3A/2A match, on Friday, October 28. Kent Island will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 7-1 record after their 35-28 league win over Wicomico (Salisbury, MD).

The Clippers (0-8) will now prepare for their match against Wicomico (Salisbury, MD). The Indians enter the Bayside 3A/2A match with a 5-3 record. In their last match, Wicomico was crushed by Queen Anne's County (Centreville, MD), 35-28, in a league match.
