The Doherty Memorial Highlanders (Worcester, MA) football overcame the visiting North Polar Bears (Worcester, MA), 28-8 in Saturday's league bout.
In their next game, the Highlanders face the Fitchburg Red Raiders (Fitchburg, MA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 28. Doherty Memorial will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Red Raiders enter the bout with a 1-6 record after their 28-20 league loss to Nashoba Regional (Bolton, MA).
