In Saturday's league match, the visiting Miller County Pirates football squad scored a good 22-12 victory over the Mitchell County Eagles.
In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Baconton Charter Blazers (Baconton, GA) in a A D2 Region 1B match, on Thursday, October 27. Miller County will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Blazers enter the match with a 1-7 record after their 39-6 non-league loss to Terrell County (Dawson, GA).
The Eagles (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Randolph-Clay (Cuthbert, GA). The Red Devils go into the non-league test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Randolph-Clay was defeated by Seminole County (Donalsonville, GA), 37-14, in a non-league test.
