The Milpitas Trojans held off the host Aptos Mariners volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Trojans now have a 17-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burlingame for a non-league test on Saturday, October 22. Milpitas will confront a Panthers team coming off a 3-1 league win over Carlmont (Belmont, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 21-5.
The Mariners (10-11) will now prepare for their test against Lynbrook (San Jose, CA). The Vikings enter the non-league test with a 16-9 record. In their last test, Lynbrook held off Homestead (Cupertino, CA), 3-2, in a league test.
