The Smith Center Redmen held off the visiting Ellinwood Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Redmen now have a 36-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hoxie for a Mid-Continent test on Saturday, October 22. Smith Center will confront a Indians team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Norton (Norton, KS). The Indians record now stands at 26-9.
