In Tuesday's league game, the South Aiken Thoroughbreds (Aiken, SC) football team edged the host Gilbert Indians (Gilbert, SC), by a tally of 35-28.

In their next game, the Thoroughbreds battle the Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC) in a AAAA Region 4 game, on Saturday, October 26. South Aiken will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 3-5 record after their 49-7 league win over Airport (West Columbia, SC).
