The Matthews Christian Academy Colts soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Mount Calvary Christian Warriors to 1 in the Colts non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Colts now hold a 14-3 record. They play next when they travel to Fellowship Baptist Academy for a non-league bout on Friday, October 25. Matthews Christian Academy will play a Eagles squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Shining Light Baptist Academy (Monroe, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 11-2.
With the loss, Mount Calvary Christian moves to 4-6 on the year.
