The Ashe County Huskies volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Tuscola Mountaineers to 0 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Huskies now possess a 18-2 record. They play next when they travel to North Lincoln for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 24. Ashe County will play a Knights team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC). The Knights record now stands at 16-8.

With the loss, Tuscola drops to 11-12 on the campaign.
