In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Harvey Hornets volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland/Munich/Starkweather] Bearcats.

The Hornets (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] (Turtle Lake, ND). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 17-2 record. In their last challenge, Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] edged Glenburn (Glenburn, ND), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bearcats meet the Cavalier Tornadoes (Cavalier, ND) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 24. North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland/Munich/Starkweather] will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Tornadoes come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 3-2 league win over Midway/Minto (Inkster, ND).
