The St. John Paul II Lions soccer squad scored 6 points and held the visiting Sturgis East Storm to 1 in the Lions non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Lions now hold a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Monomoy for a Cape and Islands- Atlantic bout on Thursday, October 23. St. John Paul II will play a Sharks squad coming off a 6-0 league loss to St. John Paul II (Hyannis, MA). The Sharks record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Sturgis East drops to 4-3 on the season. The Storm travel to Sturgis West (Hyannis, MA) to face the Navigators in a Cape and Islands- Lighthouse game on Friday, October 24. The Navigators enter the game with a record of 2-4.
