In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Millbury Woolies volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Advanced Math & Science Academy Eagles.
The Woolies (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Sutton/Douglas (Sutton, MA). The Sammies/Suzies enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record.
The Eagles now own a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ayer Shirley for a non-league test on Friday, October 24.
