The Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks tipped the visiting Fork Union Military Academy Blue Devils soccer squad by a score of 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Mavericks now possess a 4-12 record.
With the loss, Fork Union Military Academy moves to 5-10 on the year. The Blue devils travel to Fishburne Military (Waynesboro, VA) to face the Caissons in a non-league game on Friday, October 24. The Caissons enter the game with a record of 7-8. Fishburne Military won 9-1 in their recent non-league game against Massanutten Military Academy (Woodstock, VA)
