In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Unioto Shermans (Chillicothe, OH) soccer team routed the visiting Ironton Fighting Tigers (Ironton, OH), by a count of 5-0.
Next, the Shermans battle the Alexander Spartans (Albany, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 25. Unioto will attempt to better on its 10-6 season record. The Spartans go into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 9-1 non-league win over McClain (Greenfield, OH).
With the loss, Ironton moves to 9-8 on the year.
